‘Best Card Processor of the Year’ award

Thursday, 18 June, Equens was named ‘Best Card Processor of the Year’ at the Cards International Global Awards of VRL Financial News. It was presented the award at the Cards & Payments Europe event held in Prague on 18 and 19 June.
Equens was nominated for two reasons. Firstly, for being a leader in the development and implementation of card payment processing services for SEPA/pan-European purposes, and secondly because of Equens Italia – our joint venture with the Italian ICBPI Group, which has further strengthened our position as a key player in the SEPA era.
