Equens clearly displays client-orientation
12-12-2007
Equens participates in the innovation forum Banks & Future. In cooperation with several international banks and IT partners, this forum investigates interests and research questions regarding the current and future needs of banks. The forum will boost a dialogue on innovation, IT alignment and process industrialisation in the financial sector. With this participation, Equens aims to optimise its understanding of market needs and ensure the best possible fit between market requirements and offered processing solutions.
The forum will deal with issues such as: how will banks be affected by - and respond to - the influence of regulations and external developments such as SEPA, MIFID and Basel II. Based on joint input from all participants, a profound survey will be conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute, which promotes and undertakes applied research in an international context. By developing technological innovations and novel systems solutions for their customers, Fraunhofer helps to reinforce the competitive strength of the economy.
In order to optimise the learning effect of this survey, Equens has extended the Fraunhofer survey with a number of specific questions regarding the European payments market. This survey will be distributed among the members of Equens' community.
One year after its establishment, Equens is obviously moving forward in fulfilling its promises to the market. This is demonstrated in several ways. On the one hand, by constantly seeking for opportunities to enhance the efficiency and outstanding quality of Equens' payment processing services. And on the other, by keeping a close eye on market developments and on clients' needs and demands, in order to be able to optimally satisfy their current and future requirements. The Banks & Future forum is one clear example in this respect and clearly displays Equens' client-oriented focus.
