Equens' representative elected as Vice-Chairman of the Board PayComm

PayComm e.V. was founded on February 19, 2003 by ACI Worldwide GmbH, ConCardis GmbH, Deutsche Postbank AG, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Thales e-Transactions GmbH and WestLB AG, the community had set its scope to create an up-to-date user friendly payment knowledge database and to grow the community by welcoming new members to join the PayComm community.

Both objectives have been successfully achieved. The database currently contains 203 German and 171 English chapters with a total of over 2.000 individual documents covering Issuing, Acquiring, eCommerce, Payment Technology, Security, Rules, SEPA and comprehensive information on Europe. Since the founding days a number of highly payment focused companies have joined this payment community, adding to the knowledge and totality of the information available today. With now 40 member companies both German and international and about 2.100 community member employees in 15 European countries actively using the knowledge database on a day-to-day basis, it is likely the most valuable used research tool for payment, schemes, technologies, and knowledge in Europe.
