Equens becomes a member of GlobalPlatform

Equens is proud to announce its membership of GlobalPlatform, a cross-industry, not-for-profit association which identifies, develops and publishes specifications.
GlobalPlatform Specifications facilitate the secure and interoperable deployment and management of multiple embedded applications on secure chip technology. In addition, they enable trusted end-to-end solutions which serve multiple actors and support several business models.
Equens encourages initiatives like GlobalPlatform. This membership enables Equens to stay well informed on, and be involved in, initiatives that have been and will be developed in the near future. Working with established industry partners, the Equens development team is creating a future of convenient and cost-efficient transactions that deliver tangible value to consumers and a competitive advantage to businesses.
