Equens offers acquirers and banks a new terminal solution

Equens’ strategy is to become the number one pan-European payment and card processor. As a result, Equens constantly focusses on growing its transaction volumes and expanding functionality in order to retain current clients and develop further growth opportunities. As part of this strategy, last year Equens acquired the German card company montrada GmbH in order to further expand its footprint in the European cards market and reinforce its position as one of the largest card processors in Europe.
As a subsidiary of Equens, montrada operates as an independent card-services enterprise offering a complete range of services for cashless payments to German and Polish merchants. In addition to the existing cards offering of montrada, Equens is now further extending its cards capabilities by launching an International Terminal Solution
targeted towards commercial acquirers and banks across Europe.
The International Terminal Solution is an end-to-end solution for processing debit and credit card transactions, and supports international brands such as MasterCard, Visa, Maestro and V PAY.
