Record: 2 billionth PIN transaction in 2010

This morning Currence, brandowner of PIN (Dutch domestic debit), announced that the 2 billionth PIN transaction took place in a Dutch bakery in Kudelstaart today.
This is a new record, as is the first time since the introduction of PIN that this huge number of transactions is achieved within a year. Almost all these transactions were successfully processed by Equens.
