Knowledge & Research

Sharing our knowledge

We aim to fulfil our clients’ needs and the future needs of their customers. For us this means thinking ahead about solutions that will help improve their cost base, payment processes and/or market positions. This requires thorough knowledge of the market. At Equens we are constantly building our knowledge base, first and foremost by maintaining frequent and intensive interaction with our clients. But also by participating in international policy-making bodies and conducting thorough market research. We are happy to share our knowledge of the following areas to provide in-depth information that is relevant to the future of the European payments market.

E-invoicing

The cost of handling invoices can be reduced by up to 80% by switching from laborious paperwork to digitisation. E-invoicing therefore offers enormous potential for the entire European economy.

Banks & Future

Our participation in the Banks & Future Innovation Forum, initiated by the leading Fraunhofer Gesellschaft Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO in Stuttgart, enables us to assess market trends in the European banking and payments industry.

IPFA

The International Payments Framework Association (IPFA) offers the ease of executing non-euro payments all over the world with similar advantages to SEPA.

EACHA

In a linked SEPA environment, payment exchanges via more than one CSM are inevitable to create full European reach. EACHA – the European Automated Clearing House Association – has developed a standard for SEPA interoperability between banks and CSMs.
