Equens S.p.A. is a Domestic Clearing House (Centro Applicativo) for the Rete Nazionale Interbancaria (RNI). Equens can process payments and collections according to domestic inter-banking standards: credit transfer, direct debit (Incassi Commerciali), Fast RID, RIBA, MAV, Check Truncation, etc. exchanged between Banks. In particular, activities include: the acquisition of flows and messages from sending Banks, diagnostic processing and forwarding to target Banks, calculation of interest charges and the production of accounting reports required for reconciliation between Banks.
