Corporate Payment Services
One channel for SEPA payments
Benefits for banks
- Ability to support your clients with multi-bank functionality
- Minimal impact on your clients migrating to SEPA
- Independent processing of on-us transactions
- Commercial relationship remains between you and your client
In cooperation with banks Equens offers Corporate Payment Services (CPS). Via this unique service, corporates and service agents deliver SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) transactions from multiple initiating banks directly to Equens in one message. This means you do not have to separate your transactions by bank. Consequently, you only have to develop and maintain one XML customer-to-bank interface and one type of connectivity. After receiving the transactions, we can send them to the initiating bank, so you can process the on-us transactions yourself. For the other transactions, you may select the Clearing & Settlement Mechanism (CSM) of your choice or select the bank with which you have a bilateral agreement.
Benefits for corporates and service agents
- Multi-bank delivery, no separation of transactions by bank
- Only one XML customer-to-bank interface required
- Only one type of connectivity required
- One complete overview of processing information
Equens’ Corporate Payment Services is a proven solution in the Netherlands, where 55% of credit transfers and 75% of direct debits are processed via Equens’ domestic Directe Aanlevering (Direct Delivery) solution (1.5 billion transactions per year).
Corporates often hold several bank accounts with different banks. These banks can be located in various countries. Submitting payments is complex because you have to deal with connectivity, the development and maintenance of different interfaces, and a separate submission and reconciliation process. As banks, you will want to save on costs and focus on your core competences. At the same time, you will want to retain control of your customer relationships. Equens’ Corporate Payment Services fulfils both needs, without interfering in existing commercial relationships..
