A large number of government departments regularly partner with Equens to share in our wealth of knowledge. Applying this knowledge helps implement ways to improve financial services, cut compliance costs and streamline data transfer.
As a member of the Holland Financial Centre, a collaborative venture between government and financial institutions, we are helping to develop the competitive strength of the Dutch financial service industry.
Leveraging our experience in identification and authorisation, Equens is working with the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Development on innovative e-recognition projects. Our expertise is being applied to enhance security in business-to-business and business-to-government data transfer.
A number of government departments are making good use of our specialist risk management advice, such as advice on protocols for storing and transferring electronic patient records. The same specialised advice was also leveraged in the establishment of a service bureau that processes tax payments.
Our long-standing expertise in card processing is also being used to improve a number of government services. For instance, we developed a tailored prepaid card that gives students discounted entry to national museums and galleries. Another customised card service is used by waste-disposal companies for making payments at specialist collection stations along inland waterways.
